Radio Update

Looks like we're back in business. The playlist no longer reflects my psyche so much as it reflects things I like as they come out the other end of a mass .m4a encode process. So, great music as I get it polished up!! I've tucked in some weird stuff from Hunter Thompson, David Lynch, soundtracks, B-sides, all kinds of stuff. Won't be long before I'll be producing bumpers and doing live segments. Lots of fun. Blood is pumping again. More to come.

It's good to be back

Hello friends. It's been awhile. We have a lot to talk about. I'm happy to see people still checking this space, still watching the youtube channel, still checking to see what I'm up to. The truth is I am slowly re-emerging from a self-imposed exile from the internet. Well, that makes it sound like I threw away my computer, which was not the case. I just felt that it was time for me to disappear for a while, and not to come back until I had something to show. I am working on several new projects, outside of my regular duties for the production company that I co-own. For the last four years I have been in a constant state of video production, but it has all been commercial production, and certainly not as creatively fulfilling as I would like it to be. I'm taking steps to change that, and to get back into making my own films again, putting together a production the way I used to, and getting back into the swing of things. I'm looking forward to sharing that journey with you here on this blog. When I was seventeen, maybe eighteen years old I was a DJ at a hip-hop/R&B radio station in Tyler, TX. I was the only white guy who wasn't in sales. And I was pretty damn good at it. I was the morning show stunt guy and I did nights and weekends, and my regular show was saturday nights 8 PM to midnight. It was a blast. I wanted to get back to doing something live, something risky, something that was pure fun and that would get my blood pumping again. So I've started an internet radio station. It's called Big Head Radio. Right now the station is playing a three-hour long playlist that I've put together, which features some things that I love and some things I haven't heard in a while, and I think they some of them kind of represent my psyche right now. I'll let it run for a couple of days and then premiere a new one, and grow it from there, to eventually get to where I'm doing a weekly live show. If its unavailable or down, please be patient, I'm still working the bugs out and at this point only five people can listen at a time. But everybody's really wondering about one thing- a certain lightsaber sequel. I'll be talking about that and lots of other stuff here and on Big Head Radio over the coming weeks.
